These adorable and whimsical gnome OOAK dolls and ornaments are hand felted. They are individually made from head to toe. The hats are created from wool, plant and sparkly fibres that are blended to create a unique fabric, no two are the same.  I make gnomes for year-round display, as gnomes aren’t just for Christmas.
 
Forest the Woodland Wanderer was inspired by the green forest floor in  mid-winter. The hat is made from soft 21 micron merino in shades of green and olive, with soft white baby alpaca and finally white mulberry silk and green tussah silk.  The banana fiber mimics moss.
 
The Woodland Wanderers feature wet felted hat brims and a messy look that mimics their woodland environment. Forest is a baby version of the originals.
 
Forest is free standing and has a thin wire in his hat to allow for a small amount of posing. This gnome/tomte/troll/elf OOAK is perfect for your bookshelf or mantle and would make an incredible gift for your friends, family, or yourself.

Forest stands 8.5 inches tall but is only 5 inches around including his feet.
Forest's hat is a blend of soft 21 micron merino in shades of green and olive, with soft white baby alpaca and finally white mulberry silk and green tussah silk.
His beard and hair is made from hand dyed Teeswater and Blue faced Leister locks that have been hand scoured and hand dyed by me using ecologically friendly and biodegradable soap.
